On December 28, 2024, Principal Wu of Xiangyang Primary School in Shangqiu City, Henan Province, along with a delegation, visited KAPSOM, bringing with them agricultural products personally cultivated by the students. Kelvin Yuan, General Manager of KAPSOM, and the company’s leadership team warmly welcomed the visitors. Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions regarding the school’s future development.
In the summer of 2024, KAPSOM, through its “Sunshine Forward, Green Dreams Set Sail” CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiative, donated essential supplies to Xiangyang Primary School and provided crop seeds, planting the seeds of hope for the children. In return, during this December visit, Principal Wu brought fresh vegetables, fruits, and grains personally cultivated by the students—a heartfelt and carefully nurtured expression of their efforts.
During the return visit, Kelvin Yuan, General Manager of KAPSOM, shared his aspirations for the future of Xiangyang Primary School. He expressed hope that more of KAPSOM’s outstanding colleagues could visit the school to share their personal growth experiences and insights from both domestic and international perspectives, inspire the children for their future goals. Kelvin also emphasized the importance of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and English education, as STEM are the foundation of innovation, problem-solving and technology in today’s world, while English serves as a key to the world. By passing on love and inspiration, he hopes to positively influence more children and create a virtuous cycle of empowerment and growth.
During Principal Wu’s visit, he also shared Xiangyang Primary School’s unique approach to education. To expose the children to a broader range of knowledge and perspectives in order to nurture their well-rounded talent, the school has initiated a college student volunteer teaching program. Principal Wu expressed heartfelt gratitude to KAPSOM for its support through the CSR initiative, particularly for the donated schoolbags, which the children deeply cherish. He also fully endorsed Mr. Yuan’s proposed plans for continued engagement, expressing hope that the students will have opportunities to see a wider world and discover the boundless possibilities for their future.
This return visit not only strengthened the emotional bond between KAPSOM and Xiangyang Primary School but also advanced the sustainable development of KAPSOM’s CSR initiatives. Looking ahead, KAPSOM will continue to maintain close engagement with Xiangyang Primary School, helping the children broaden their horizons and pursue their dreams.
