On the afternoon of March 14, 2020, a dedicated vehicle filled with epidemic prevention supplies departed from KAPSOM, heading to Germany. The vehicle was loaded with KN95 masks and other epidemic prevention materials, symbolizing KAPSOM’s heartfelt wish for the German people to overcome the pandemic swiftly.
The friendship between China and Germany has a rich history, marked by fruitful exchanges and cooperation across numerous fields, including economics, trade, and culture. The sudden outbreak of COVID-19 disrupted global rhythms, but it did not interrupt the enduring friendship between the two nations. During the most critical period of the pandemic in China, our German partners were quick to respond with financial donations and supplies, diligently seeking essential protective gear and masks to assist Wuhan. As the pandemic spread globally, Europe, in particular, faced severe challenges. Despite the ongoing domestic control efforts, the Chinese government decided to extend a helping hand to other countries in need.
