On August 10, 2022, Dr. Zhou Hongjun, Dean of the New Energy Research Institute of China University of Petroleum, led his team members to visit KAPSOM for exchange and guidance.
Zhou’s trip is mainly to inspect the skid-mounted modular green chemical production device developed by KAPSOM, which is suitable for the production of green chemical products using renewable energy in distributed energy areas like wind and PV farm.
Dr. Zhou visited a set of 5 tons/day small-scale industrial demonstration plant recently manufactured by KAPSOM for our foreign customers. He inquired about the modular design concept and manufacturing process in detail, and affirmed our production and research results.
KAPSOM’s management had a full exchange and discussion on how the international and domestic chemical industry can use green chemical industry to deal with severe climate challenges and achieve the “double carbon” goal with them. With years of experience and strategic thinking in new energy, Dr. Zhou put forward constructive suggestions for the development of our company. The two sides have the same thinking on the future development direction of new energy and look forward to the follow-up cooperation with each other.
